Days 3-4 Fraser Island
Kick back in this island paradise of washed-up shipwrecks, teeming wildlife and natural beauty. Enjoy a swim in the island's freshwater lakes or venture out to Indian Heads for a bout of shark-watching. Perhaps make time for a barbecue and leisurely game of cricket on the beach.
Days 5-6 Outback Farmstay
Have a true blue, dinki di Aussie experience at a family-owned cattle station. Milk a cow, muster some goats or learn to lasso before sitting down to a tasty bush dinner. Later set up a swag and sleep outside by the campfire.

On 07 June the Australian Government issued an updated travel warning for East Timor strongly advising against travel to East Timor because of the extremely dangerous security situation. Australians in the country are advised to leave. The Travel Warning remains at Category 5 - Do Not Travel.
On Tuesday 07 June we have taken the decision to cancel the remainder of our East Timor trips scheduled to depart in 2006. All travellers will be notified and given the opportunity to transfer to another trip or obtain a full refund (land content only). We very much regret having to take this action and our thoughts and sympathies are with the people of East Timor during this troubled time.
We are confident of being able to resume our normal schedule of trips to East Timor in 2007 and hope that those travellers who have had to cancel their plans this year will travel with us to East Timor in 2007.
For other safety updates, please see our general safety updates page.

I enjoy the trip and it was a very enrichment experience.

good trip
Saul Magitsky
Overall I enjoyed the trip, it was good to visit more difficult to reach places such as the farm stay. Was very disappointed at the group size - there were only 3 of us - would have liked to be advised of that before the trip to prepare me. The appeal of doing a group trip for me is to enjoy the company of a range of like minded people.
