Having grown up in Ireland, I know that you don't go there for the weather. However it does give you a great excuse to spend some time where much of the 'craic' goes on - the pub. Here you'll always find people who want to talk to you and find out where you're from, what you do and why you're there! The Irish countryside is filled with picture-postcard images of whitewashed, thatch-roofed cottages and bright green fields. In the cities, modern architectural wonders offer a glimpse of the thriving 'Celtic Tiger' while medieval monasteries and ancient relics tell stories of an age of warriors and myth. Everywhere you go on this small island you will be captivated by the spectacular scenery and the friendly people, memories of which will stay with you long after you return home.
